Devlog3: Production 1
This week we started our first production sprint.
Our main playable prototype doesn't feature any art yet, but we are well on our way to start implementing some of our artist's work by next week. The prototype features "scrap" spawning in a line and moving diagonally, with a blue overlay on the closest targetable piece.
When you press the lockon button (currently spacebar on PC, and the X button on controller), you will automatically aim at the target.
As for our artist's work, we have some concepts to show you:
first of all we have some scrap pieces you will have to collect or break.
next up we have our main ship with standard equipment.
then we have our main space station, that will be in the center of the map.
our upgrade station, where you will get upgrades for your gear
and our deposit station, where you can deposit collected scrap untill you visit the main station again.
and last but not least we have our beautiful environment art.
planets are currently still placeholder textures, but will get their stylised textures soon.
