Devlog8: Production Sprint 2, Week 3
This week was the last week of the production sprint 2, this was also the last week we could implement new features. The next weeks will be polishing what we already have.
Let's start of what our dev, Robbe has done this week:
--Programm Department--
This week we started with an issue where the programmer was the only one who had a good and working version and there where some delays. But out programmer still wanted to complete all the needed stuff.
Leaderboard
One of the requirements of the project was to have a leaderboard, It had a bit of a problem because we can't itterate over a map like we can in C++. This leaderboard can be saved.
Keyboard
A big challenge for the programmer, he had already made an inventory with blueprints, where you select the item with a mouse, but now we don't have a mouse and we needed to get the hover effect. after a lot of testing and research we finally got a working keyboard for controller.
Upgrades System
We updated the system so we now have a requirement for an upgrade.
--Art department--
Our artist have also pushed to get in as many new content as possible.
Wouter for example has added a ton of new RFX to the level, we'll share some of them here:

and a world border which you will have to explore by yourself ;)
Alex has been busy aswell, making alot of elements for the UI, incluiding icons and a font. Here are some examples:
